We can digitize images from books, posters, and other hard copy flat
documents, 5-9 minute excerpts from VHS or DVD films or tv shows, and audio from
CDs. Email Jenny Gowen at gowe0006@umn.edu
to give her advance notice that you will be submitting material to be digitized.
She will give you an accurate estimate of when he can have your materials ready,
usually within a week or two. Copyright

Submitting hard copy materials
Leave your materials, with a printed copy of the form
attached (download it, below), in the Digital Museum box
in 104 Scott Hall. Keep a copy of the form for your records. You will
receive an email when your work is ready. You can pick up
your hard copy materials in the Digital Museum box, or
Jenny can return them to the U library for you.
Submitting material that is already in digital format:
If your content is already in digital format, fill out the form and either email it as an attachment to Jenny,
(files under 4 MB), or leave the CD in the Digital Museum
box in 104 Scott Hall (bigger than 4 MB). Please be sure
to attach the hard copy form to the CD, or if you email a
small file, please include the title of the item in the
subject line of the email.
You can download the submission form as a Word document or as a PDF file.
This site includes a list of keywords to make your submission process easier. If you would like to suggest additional keywords for the list, please add them to your submission form, indicating that they are additions.
