Welcome to Honors in the College of Liberal Arts!

Students attend the University of Minnesota -- Twin Cities because of its nationally recognized faculty, its diverse academic programs, and its unparalleled research opportunities and facilities. If these attract you, but you also want a personal experience generally associated with a small college, then Honors in the College of Liberal Arts (HCLA) is for you. Beginning with a specially designed orientation program for new students, and ending with recognition at graduation, HCLA provides an integrated program of special educational and extracurricular activities to help you reach your full potential.
