Abroad (new

Supports
a semester or year of study abroad, for the
purpose of equipping Americans with an understanding
of less commonly studied languages and cultures.
Must be US citizen enrolled in an UNDERGRADUATE
degree program, with strong academic record,
language and international interests. Approximately
150 awards given. An institutional review and

Scholarships for Undergraduates

Prizes for
stays of two to three months in Germany and scholarships for one or two
semesters for undergraduates are available.
Mary
E. Hahn Fellowship (new
window)
This fellowship
is given to undergraduate students majoring in Greek, Latin or Classical
Civilization to support a study program, participation in archaeological
fieldwork or other appropriate learning activity in Classical Studies requiring
travel to the Mediterranean area.
Paulo
Freire International Community Service Grant Program

In an effort
to develop well-rounded, "whole students" for a global society,
the International Study and Travel Center (ISTC), in partnership with the
Diversity Institute and the Career and Community Learning Center (CCLC),
sponsors several students annually through grants that allow them to have
unique international experiences. Information is available through ISTC

scholarships for a summer travel program, including
the American School of Classical Studies at
Athens and the American Academy in Rome.
Katherine
E. Sullivan Scholarship
The
Sullivan Scholarship allows a student to study
abroad for one academic year and will cover
all or a portion of in-country educational expenses
(tuition, fees, books, research costs, etc.),
room and board, and round-trip transportation
between the Twin Cities and the study site.
