Known as the "compassionate coroner," Dr. Janis Amatuzio is an internationally recognized authority in forensic medicine. She serves as Coroner and provides forensic pathology services for several counties in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Trained at the University of Minnesota, the Hennepin County Medical Center and the Medical Examiner's Office in Minneapolis, she has been in the field of forensic medicine for nearly twenty-five years.

Amatuzio will sign copies of her book, Forever Ours, following the discussion.

This event, free and open to the public, is part of the Magraw-Fuller Lecture Series. The Magraw-Fuller Lecture Series was established through the generous support of a College of Liberal Arts alumna and aims to improve the communication skills of pre-med and pre-health students through interdisciplinary topics in the liberal arts.
